hi, this will be the 4th time I will be on hcv meds. all prev. were with 2 different kinds of interf. with rib. the 3rd was with that crap they call incivic or teapavir. that stuff almost killed me. I know, I have the medical bills to prove it. now, I was told I will be able to be on harvoni. and let me tell you, if all I get are some head aches and tiredness with a bit of hair loss or other minor side effect, I will be totally elated. I swore I would never go back on inter. and rib. I am old enough to say it would not be worth it to be so miserable again. I am on such an emotional rollercoaster. (as I'm sure a lot of you are too). when I was told I was eligible for harvoni (insuance wise). just blubbered like a little kid with hope and joy. of the last 15 years I have spent almost 5 of them either on the program or recovering from the side effects.i don't even start on them for a week or so but I have to be positive.
I have done Tx before as well ,and thought I would never clear or recover from the tx ..
I am on Sovaldi /Riba almost 7 weeks( have to do 24).I was UNDIE by 4 weeks
I am geno 3 with cirhossis
This tx has been a cakewalk compared to the old ones
as you say ..a few headaches some dry/skin /rash problems for me I felt better just 2 weeks into tx I have had this 42 years .
So keep thinking positive loads of people have very few sides with Harvoni >>>

My thyroid was destroyed by the interf.......Main thing is Harvoni has
Sovaldi in it and that is the killer of Hep C!!
You will do it, I know it and I pray it is an easy treatment for you as you already have done the horror stuff.
