I agree Levicah. Years of heavy NSAID use (chronic arthritis) combined with active HCV surely attributed to my cirrhosis. I was aware of the stomach irritation and thinning of platelets but had no idea that meant liver scarring too. None of my Dr.s mentioned that until a couple years ago.
Tylenol helps but doesn't reduce the inflammation so I try to get by as best I can. If I had only known about NSAIDs affect, I may be in much better shape today.
Endo didn't find any varicies yet but I will continue to be scoped and scanned.
