Crilen
I just read somewhere today (yeah, I'm still doing it) that the "new" PI's combined with the old double tx are a lot more difficult for the patients than was originally thought. Well, YEAH, I GUESS SO. Probably just as bad as the old SOC, but at least with the PI's we have a better chance of clearing this monster. I can't wait for the silver bullet. Pre-tx is awful. I am trying so hard to calm down (with my old friend, Xanax on board), but anxiety is always there.
I know for sure that my husband will not react well to my inevitable irritability and possibly hostility. I'm already a bitch. Depression - fine - I go into my room and deal with it. But if I tear into him like a raging bull, things will not be good. But I've got to do this.
None of us are alone thanks to this forum. It is a place to express our fears, frustrations, to ask for help and it's so important. Our friends are HERE.
When I was on tx, my saying was "I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired". And if I had a good day, I knew it would be followed by a bad day or two, cuz when I had a good day, I took it and ran w/it....always over did it just cuz I felt decent"!!
I'ts all part of the process...just hang in there Bestshot, as when tx is over, they can all be GOOD DAYS!
Again what all the others have said, good days when we feel almost human, if we overdo it, we pay for it in the following days, but embrace the good ones! they are few and usually make you smile. Try not to overdo it even though you feel good.
Today, just rest.
Take care,
Kelly
