Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
It looks like a different delivery method for Interferon as far as I can tell.

Yeah, there are so many exciting new trials happening these days you need a racing form to keep up with it all.
My clinic is just starting up a new quadruple therapy trial. Some arms use pegINT/RBV and other arms exclude one, or both.
Big improvements (we hope...hahah) are on the horizon!
