does anyone know if this stuff is "liver friendly?" it was prescribed to me before i found out that i have this crapola...just wondering...not trying to hurt my poor unsuspecting liver anymore than i have....

naproxen is just like motrin, just a bit stronger. and my dr said motrin was alright in prescribed doses, but naproxen gave me an ulcer so i dont prefer that lol

Naproxen (Naprosyn) is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) so similar to motrin, advil, ibuprofen and if taken on a full stomach is fine to take with your hep c.
As mmc613 pointed out rightly so it can be tough on the stomach so if you notice any burning in the epigastric area hold off.

I do not know if this is liver friendly. But an internest told my girl friend NOT to take more than 2 per month because it can cause heart problems. He recommeded Darvacet.

My doc said it was fine to take...as I have RA too. I have to limit myself to only 6 a day though. So if it works for you, then I would think it is okay in moderation. Dr. Orange did not say you can't take it...so go for it as needed. You don't get a medal for suffering any more then you need too!

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
