I am completing a round of Sovaldi and Ribavin. I'm genotype 2b.
Plop plop fizz fizz, oh what a relief it is! I'd like to say that 12 weeks simply flew by, but that is not the case. The road has been tough at times. Anemia and an RA flare complicated my journey. Keeping things positive, I'm HCV undetectable and my liver enzymes are normal for the first time in years. My body feels pure and clear of the dragon that has lived inside for over 40 years. I have faith that I will be SVR. As my body heals from the meds, I look forward to the new health that is in front of me. Big shout out to Gilead and Aetna for working together to make this happen.

Great news, Kathy. I'm on Sovaldi and Olysio, and my insurance co. is also Aetna. So thankful I was finally approved, although it took over 2 months doe to appeals. I pray that you are totally healed, and feel that you are. It's onward and upward with your life!

Great post and awesome news. You did this with RIBA, no less, and I know how that can go - not from experience but from reading so many accounts of what it can do to someone. GOOD FIGHT, girl!

I have 15 days to go with Sova/Oly. Compared to what Riba probably would have done to me, this tx has been pretty easy - just that dang headache, but what a small price to pay for SVR FOREVER (I am positive too).

im 4 weeks in to sovaldi , olysio and riba and have never felt better in my life. my muscles are getting o2 and trying to burst outta my skin. im laying as many 200 + lb landscape stones as a helper an i were a month ago. there are 3 men available to help but i dont want them. this exercise is the shit..

Great news Kathy !!!! Time will heal even more. I am beginning to feel a bit more energy post 3 weeks off the Riba. Make sure your vitamin D levels are okay too. Mine were quite low and I started taking some supplements and also getting some nice Springtime sunshine when possible !!! God bless ;)
