Lab Question please help!

Sorry for the repeat post I tried to post from my phone and it didn't work.

My 1 year SVR labs were "RNA Undetectable" and my 1.5 year came back "RNA Detected, not quantifiable"

I was on triple tx. 2013 was the last bloodwork. I wish there was more info for post tx/SVR numbers. Everything discusses during tx but not post

Was undetectable at tx end and 1 year post. Then one test 2013 came back "detected not quantifiable"

I hope hope hope that is all is well and you are clear. There is only one way to know for certain.

Whatever the outcome just do what you have to do next. Don't anticipate anything, let them tell you & explain everything completely.

I agree with Trissa. There is really no sense in speculating with the limited information we have.

The best course would be to call your doc and say you want to be retested. Have them send orders to the lab, and get your blood drawn before your doctor's appointment so the results will be ready and you only have to pay for one visit.

HCV testing is complicated, there are different test, and the results can be confusing. No one is born knowing this, and even doctors make mistakes.

Just ask that it all be explained to you, and don't be afraid to ask questions or take notes. Keep your paperwork in one folder for reference when needed.
