Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
I've had many memorable days in my life including, witnessing the birh of my daughter and twin boys and eventually attending their graduation from college with degrees in engineering. All were the happiest times of my life. today will rank right up there with those for sure.
Today the light is shinning very very brightly now that I'm at the end of the long tunnel. Its been a long 48 weeks and I'm now ready to get on with my life's work. I'm going to break out my new shades its so bright.
The 23rd is the final blood draw with a follow up to the Doc 2/4.
Thats funny since the last drink of my life was last Feb 4th..
Although I've only been on DS for a couple weeks its been very helpful to know that everyone cares so much. I will continue to monitor post to help anyone that I can by sharing what I know and experiences from dealing with this for the last 22 plus years that I've had the virus.

Lots of people have twins sons, like me
Lots of peoples twin sons graduate college, like me
But wow, am I impressed that yours both got engineering degrees (like me).Not an easy program to get through, and it requires a lot of discipline to study while your friends are out partying

Dr. Joe (aka our Hepper King), isn't that the truth? I didn't study Engineering although I started out doing so. But let's just say that after 8 years of college pursuing my education, I can agree 100% that it took A LOT of discipline to study hard for years while all of my friends were out partying too. Well more graduate school than under. I did manage to party just a little in college. Lol. Heck I lived in San Diego then too and the beach and sun were always calling.
I agree that our futures look so bright, we will def need our shades!
