Well I did it. Went out Friday night and forgot all about having hep c!!!! Boy did I have a great time!!! Did my favorite thing. Drank wine and sang my heart out at the studio with my husband. No he didn't encourage me but he didn't stop me. He couldn't ! It was my choice and I don't regret it. For one night I felt normal and carefree. I'm not saying this is right for everyone but it was for me. I feel invigorated again, like I am ready for the next step. Sometimes you have to do something extreme to put you back on track and that's what seems to have happened to me. That's all I have to say about it. No regrets, just a headache!!!

Falling off the wagon happens a lot here. Let it go and get back on. Don't hang onto it. Don't beat yourself up.

I was never on a wagon to fall off of! I'm not an alcoholic. Pills were a problem yes but not alcohol. I just wasn't drinking because I wasn't suppose to be cause of my liver. So I'm not beating myself up. I probably won't drink again until well the next time. Whether that is a week a month a year who knows. All I know is never say never because that is a really long time. I'm not going to make unrealistic goals for myself again.

Being on the wagon yes, usually refers to having a problem with alcohol very true. Glad you had fun; that it did you some good to have some fun. Also glad you won't be tempted to make it a regular thing. Quite a few heppers have drunk themselves to liver failure and death.
Happy that you will not be another sorry statistic!

I have no intentions of making it a habit. lol. I know how bad it is for me. That's why I haven't been doing it. I want to be healthy for the next round of tx. Just needed to blow off a little steam. It's out of my system now and hope it stays that way. Really don't like the headache that I now have and can't get rid of. But, I didn't let it keep me down today. We were up and out of the house by 10:00 and had a wonderful morning. Something else I haven't done in a while as well. My depression has decreased as well.

Oh Jim, You don't want to hear me sing. lol I said I like to sing but I can't sing at all. My husband is very patient with me. lol He tries to help but for some reason I just can't seem to get it. Considering all the talent in my family this surprises me. Even my Dad played in a band for a living. My kids a very talented as well but nope not me, Tone deaf maybe. We did take videos Friday but no way would I let anyone see them. I just watched them myself and had a good laugh all over again.
