An old girl friend called the other day and ask how I was feeling. I told her. She said now you know what it feels like to be pregnant all I could say was OH.

Yeah, But she nailed the water drinking, peeing every 5 minutes, sleeping all the time, and feeling so tire some days it's a fight to get out of bed.

Well I gotta say though...starting each morning nauseated and vomiting has been good for instilling empathy in me for the crap that my wife went through!

It may not be the same as being pregnant but I know that I will put my feet up, relax and feel like I have accomplished something almost as miraculous when they tell that he dragon is dead!

I've never been preggers but I think some of the sides from tx are very similar to the sides of being pregnant. Taste bud change, smell change, feeling sick to your stomach, throwing up, feeling moody, tired. Its close. Well, at least now I know if I ever get pregnant it'll be like a walk in the park compared to treatment! lol

You should ask her does she know what its like to be pregnant, crazy, depressed, itchy, and go through chemo all at the same time. If she says No, then say well thats how I feel on treatment and see what she says! lol

Its like when someone says "that this is not chemo", Well if this is not chemo it is certainly as close as I ever hope to come...and if this isn't crazy it is as close as I ever hope to come...and if this is or ain't pregnant it is as close as I ever hope to come!

im sure pregnancy is very uncomfortable and painful but you should call her back and ask her if shes ever zipped her d*** up in a zipper? even that pales in comparison to rat poison n ragetabs.

I love how people think they know exactly how we feel. I'd really appreciate people not assuming. Everyone likes to tell me that I should be feeling this way or another way, I know they are trying to be supportive but it just annoys me.

Scumm, I know its like "wow I'm tired, exhausted" and then someone is like yea I'm tired too. I just have to smile because its like you have no clue what kind of tired I am talking about! lol
