Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

That's awesome , and I pray that's the way it stays, and I have no doubt it will!
You know, a lot of other Geno 2's would do good to read what you wrote. My Doctor told me that she has never seen a geno 2 that finished the tx not clear the virus. Heck, you cleared with only 9 weeks. They do have a successful tx for Hep C right now and it is only getting better. I just wished more folks knew that, and what Blue said. Finding out that you have this thing is the very first step in fighting it!!!
