I'm 14 years sober this month. Now with HCV I've never been so happy that I got treatment for the alcohol. It's just good to know I don't need to BOTH treat Hep C while kicking the booze.
I'm not normally one for support groups. I always thought I don't want to be with a bunch of people whining about their problems. AA taught me to accept support so turning to this group was an easy decision. If there are any whiners (I haven't seen many) they get offset by that madman with the truck for an avatar.
I'm new to this, but not new to alcohol. Just glad to read soooo many different takes on all of this as I work out how I'll handle it all.
