I felt hopeless when i discovered D.S.I was sick near unto death ,but listening too your stories i found hope . Today I hope that i can share that hope ...of a new lease on life... with some of you...no..with all of you.I began participating in a phase 111, randomized, double blind, placebo controlled study to investigate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of TMC435 as p-art of a treatment regimen including peginterferon a-2a (Pegasys*) and ribavirin (Copegus*) or peginterferon a-2b (Pegintron*) and ribavirin (Rebetol*) in treatment-naive, genotype 1, hepatitis C-infected subjects. I began the medicines on the 20th day of May, 2011 and was stopped being given the experimental drug ( or possibily a placebo) on the 10th day of August 2011. I then continued taking the aforementioned drugs until November 2nd 2011 at which time i ceased taking all medication.s...I,m This is a 84 week study and i,ll return for labs in July and in October. I honestly feel like a new man...thats to say i feel about 40% of my old self ...however i have stage 4 cirrhosis so i,m not able to say what i would feel like if that were not the case.The bottom line is i am convinced that i wouldn,t be here now without you folks and this study..Never give up...fight the good fight...God bless you all.
