ya know wes, that is a good question? I use to have that sesation in my feet years ago and never knew what it was. My hands feet and face would swell on occation, but never knew i had hep c back then. I know that feeling in your feet. Never thought of it being hep neuropthy.

Wes can you describe what you are feeling?
I have this weird pain that showed up about 2 wks ago. I my wrist (skin) upper side has any pressure on it, I feel burning pain then it subsides. Both wrists but more on the right.

Yeah. It feels like I am walking on cotton balls and then later in the day it feels like I am walking on rocks and my toes are tender and painful. I habitually walk not on my toes now. When sitting down in the second half of the day the balls of my feet and my toes get real sore and painful. Sometimes I feel like my feet are swollen and want to bust out if my shoes. I take my shoes off and look at my feet and they are normal. It feels like there is something inside my feet that I am walking on.

I have the neuropathy, but it started after my 3 round of tx. Was from the interferon. I take neurontin (gabapentin) for it. Originally it was the painful feet that you describe, but mine has progressed into numbness. Now it's starting in my fingers. My right pointing finger is numb up to the second joint. I also take other pain meds for DDD, DJD, and other conditions. The neurontin is specifically for nerve pain and losing the myelin sheathing around nerves.

Wow, Josi, you're tugging at my heart strings. That sounds really freaky to me. I already know that this will probably progress along the same for me. Fun, fun, fun. I know others here are having "fun", also. I pray our faiths will get us through these things. Thanks for your comments, Josi.
