Heartburn

Has anyone got heartburn on TX. I have it heartburn for 2 days now it's driving me insane, Along with this freak'in headache that comes and go. I spoke with the doctors office and the PA advise eat some roliads, But all they do is take the edge off the heartburn, Just like the tylenol takes the edge of the headache. Any suggestions?

I have it also, and it's worse when i dip..................
I have come to the conclusion it is actually caused from the riba pills making the throat so dry.......

Daytaker, your PAs advice to take rolaids is BAD advice. Calcium can inhibit the absorption of the riba. So, if do you take rolaids, tums or any of those calcium things, be sure you take them at least 4 hours before or after the riba to be sure you're getting all the riba in your system.

Try Prilosec or Zantac while on treatment as they won't interfere with the riba. Pepcid is also good but do NOT use Pepcid Complete. The Complete version contains calcium products.

keep something in your tummy at all times. Carbs before the riba pills. Those darned headaches, trial and error to find what gives you the most relief.
