Yes a few of us did. I was on Sovaldi and Olysio. I think it may be the side effects of Sovaldi. Either that or the fact that most of the virus may already be gone from you and your immune system is finally getting a break after years of battle.

I lost my appetite and 15lbs the first month, but my appetite came back. If you are feeling increased energy, you're probably burning more calories and so you are more hungry. I felt a burst of energy the first few days. Eventually it caught up with me and I became fatigued & forgetful. I also have flushes and sweats, usually after I take a pill, and sometimes at night. I'm in my 8th week now and still get flushed. Most of the other sides have subsided, although I've been fighting off some kind of bug the last few days. It is flu season. :/

On day 14 now and the first three days was such a expresso buzz I was flying everywhere...that ended also and have been up and down..did experience hunger attitude for a couple of days..and probably gained,..had aches and pains everywhere especially upper back, arms, legs muscles..slight dizzy , breathing, heart rate flutters, tighness...all brief and in and out...now don't want to eat...could use to loose, ..tired...

I would think with that "buzz" I would not have the hunger and food cravings. I know things will change as this is my first week. Thank goodness it is nothing like when I was on treatment in 2008! You all make me feel so welcomed to this group!!!

I am on wk 8 of 12. I felt the power of Harvoni in the first wk. I felt reborn. I had been living with feeling bad for so long I had forgotten what feeling good might be like. Energy returned, insomnia gone & I wake up rested. I have lost weight which is probably because I am able to be more active. This is an easy tx compared to 57 wks of ifn/riba based failed txs of my past. The only side effect I have now is the heat flush about an hour or two after taking Harvoni. I quench it with ice water. If I don't hydrate enough I also feel a mild headache. I can't even call these side effects because I feel so dang good. Harvoni = Happy

My buzz was being undetected after 18 days on Harvoni. Life is beautiful. So glad to hear peeps are getting this drug & hope other geno 1s get better access soon.

I did 12 1/2wks of solv/riba this summer, had failed the interferon/riba in 2009.
I'm not sure what my current status is, I've moved & need new doctors.
This last round of tx left me with constant ringing in the ears so please excuse me if I have trouble hearing you.

I don't know Trissa , I have that riniging in my ears , started right before TX and is not going away...I had it in late Sept. with vertigo but it went away only to return now....wish Proffesionals would find out about this..has to be a simple explanation somewhere...ALIENS interfering with our cyberspace...fukashemia...chemtrails...that's it

I'd talk to my doc about it in case the ringing in the ears is something more than a drug interaction. It could indicate another health issue like high blood pressure.

My thryroid function has been effected by tx meds & Harvoni is no exception. My TSH is in normal range but very low & I take Levothyroxine .75 mcg daily (synthroid). My doc will retest 12 wks after EOT to see if the function improves.

Thanks ALLAb for update sounds like you are moving right along..I did my first labs yesterday and should get results back on Monday...I feel good , that burst of energy has calmed down to normal I guess but today I just dont' feel like doing anything...so I am giving Harv the best of rest....

I had exactly the opposite. I was vomiting and nauseated easily at first but this went away after a while. I'm now in the last three weeks of Harvon1 and feel great. Eat like a pig. But this is the second try for me, RIba and Sovaldi failed earlier this year. KNocked 65# off me. Then the virus came roaring back more than 9million of the little bastards. Dr. G says there's a 97% chance this time but I refuse to have the expectations I had last time around so the let-down won't be so savage if it's bad news. Best of luck my friendI Steve J Houston TX

I feel great after almost three weeks of Harvoni. Two week labs shows everything at normal levels. Energy level is high and food intake has increased. I think it's because I have increased my workouts or because it's the holidays. I went into it by losing weight in the months leading up to it. I hope for the best but no overly excited. All previous atemps have failed.
Great news every time I a hear success story about TX.

I had terrible cravings for chocolate. Couldn't get enough of it. Went away as soon as tx was over. Thank God!!! Good luck and God bless.

I'm about to finish my 4th week of Harvoni Friday. I also had the energy burst. And I also have ringing/buzzing in my ears. Quite annoying. I failed triple Tx in 2012 as well.
Light, brief headaches.
This is a hard subject. But anybody experience lighter feces ? Sorry.

I am on Harv...week 2.5 and feeling better but still get worn out from the buzz of the day....by 3pm gotta rest...get a little dizzy and heart races for a short time ...alll sides are short lived...just passing and moving on to the other hiding spots ...go get em Harv
