well here I am again. 4th time. the last one almost killed me. I see my doc on Monday to apply for the harv. was denied last sept. because of pos. thc test. stage 4 cirr. 66 yrs. old. obviously expendable. as far as insurance is concerned. weak, nausea, dizzy. increasing pain in my side. I am a 6 foot container of adrenaline with two legs. my anxiety is out of control. but my enthusiasm for the treatment is so subdued by my past treatment failures.
minimal sleep. even my self hypnosis is failing because of my lack of concentration. I never even had this kind of anxiety when I got shipped off to nam. WHAT A RIDE THIS IS! I have changed my diet, low carb. no sugar, extreme low fat. walk as much as I can, use a cane now. weight loss is rapid. try to eat tons of veggies that I research for my liver. so I am hoping for the best.
to the person who is on the 5th time around. good luck to you. keep the faith as much as you can.

They can't discriminate for age, who's to say value of life changes at a certain age?
With cirrhosis you are a priority.

They treated me for 24 weeks and it worked
after 3x other ttreatments ..
Praying and hoping it works for you this time ..but go for the 24 weeks as trissa said
