Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
So............I go to high priced doc the other day about my cancer dx........turns out its Vulva cancer..............and doc tells me that my smoking caused it.............Vulva cancer......caused by smoking..which also caused my COPD........and for all I know..........it prolly caused my hair to turn gray and my eyes to be green!!!!!!!!!!
Now........I'll go smoke another cig and try to find those other 3 beers:):):)

p.s. having battled both cigarets and cocaine, I think cigarettes were tougher to kick but never derailed my life quite the way cocaine did. Hoping I never do battle with either again.
I tried everything to quit, i found the patch to me the most effective. It eliminated that crazy jonseing for nicotine where I felt I wanted to bite someone's head off...
I remember one time when I was trying to quit, I saw this teenage kid down the street lighting up. I thought to myself "I could smash him in the face and take his cigarettes." Crazy thoughts.
No matter how bad my cocaine addiction got, I never thought of violence to get my next fix. But nicotine is a POWERFUL drug.
