The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Welcome to all the new members who are starting treatment.

Unfortunately I was sick for awhile and didn't get to meet some of you newcomers.

Hey Mck (again) have you tried the NIOXIN hair products advertised on this site or know anyone that has? They have rave reviews.

I have been on tx for 13 weeks and I have used that guide, dear McKenzie, probably about 20 times. Each and every time it helps me find a solution to a side effect, which either makes it go away, or makes it manageable.
I encourage everyone to listen to this great advice and check it out!

Thanks for hanging around & sharing w/us newbies. I'm curious about the nioxin myself. I'm going to buy some & try it. I can deal w/a lot but I hope tx doesn't mess with my hair

Yea , Can you imagine those girls were taking 2 to 3 injections of IF a week . this was before PegIntro .. women are so much more courageous than men ... you guys( girls) rock

There's my missing in action Dr. McKenzie who was SO there for me when I was first dx in july---helped me prep for my tx in nov....so glad you reposted this link--been lucky so far but nice to have reference for sides...new one now is my tongue has bumps on it that make eating hard??? I'll look it up...
