I'm so confused. I am thrilled to learn you and your husband have cleared the virus so I need to ask. Were either of you Genotype 1B. I have been told , by members this site , that I should not look to be cured because I have this genotype and now I am so very discouraged and near tears again! What can I hope for? I have had this virus 35 years and so far no damage, but my doctor states that the earlier I treat the better, however, I'm so afraid of what damage I may do to my body especially if I have minimal change of ever beating this with the current available treatment. What are your thougths and experiences that may help me? Cashee
Cashee, we were both type 1a, so there is hope for you.
It's just that those genotype 1 are the toughest types to get rid of... but we did it.

Like McKenzie and Richard, I too was a genotype 1a and it's my understanding that it's the hardest of them all to eradicate. I did it with McKenzie's coaching. :) I believe you can too.

This guide was created by 3 young women who were girlfriends and they did the guide the year they were on treatment, so for sure it's out of date, but still covers lots of great advice on side effects.
