Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
We have a new member, Gina she is Roger's girlfriend, and caregiver when he starts his second round in the early months of 2010.
As some of you might remember, Roger did treatment last year, 48 weeks of the combo meds, but relapsed.
So in January, he is meeting his new Doctor and will be starting his second round.
Gina is new to all of this, and would welcome some friends, to help her in learning and caring for her boy friend Roger.

It is wonderful that you are being so supportive for him!
I remember when my mom was kissing me good night and I was getting uncomfortable with all the kisses, she was getting silly, and I was getting embarassed, and I said, Mom, you're kissing you so much it's pitiful.
Broke her heart. I meant embarassing!
