Hang in there!!
I would say that your doctor is making the best choice for you, but you can certainly ask him why he is that route for you. Always ask questions when you don't understand why the doc is doing what he's doing.
Hope you're doing better now.
Take care,
kelly
With Vic, everything worked on schedule. I did the 4 week run up with inf+riba, then 36 weeks of the triple, total of 40. The extra weeks for me are because I am a relapser while you're "treatment naive"
So, two failed attempts without Vic, and VIC tx going just fine (18 weeks post treatment, undie at last test, 12 weeks post). I conclude that Vic made the difference.
As Kelly said it has an additional technique of preventing the virus from replicating/cleaving.
This isn't scientific, but I feel triple is like take a birth control pill, using a condom, and taking the morning after pill. not sure how it works, but somehow it does
The Hep C virus is like An Alien. Is this virus madein a lab, or natural, what do you think?
