well i had a little trepidation about how effective my treatment would be with a lowered dose... this was wayyyy after the incivek. i have read positive and negative things about reducing the dose.. but it made such a difference in how i felt that i would recommend anyone who is severely anemic to discuss a lower dose with their DR.
so today i got the results and the virus is NOT DETECTED... now i just have to wait 6 months to see if it's gone for the long haul...

My opinion is, they wouldn't lower the dose if they thought it would jeopardize your treatment. If the effects were so intolerable, what were the options? Now that you are "undie" your chances of svr are very good, it shows the treatment worked for you. Enjoy every moment.
the last treatment i had the old school doctor let me drag my half dead ass around till i needed a transfusion!! jeez... and i still relapsed!
and yes, i know she wouldn't lower the dose if it would jeopardize the treatment... but until you see the words "non detected" there is always that niggling doubt..... i'm so glad this is over!!
you can all do it, hang in there and get thru it one day at a time, one shot at a time and then - viola!! it's over!!
