Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
Sorry you are feeling so tired. Please address these questions to you doctor. Make sure you are getting your routine blood test and stay in close contact with your dr and tell them about all your symptoms. Only your dr can determine if you are diabetic. I keep a ledger while on treatment. When I have a question I right it down so when I visit or talk to my dr I can ask the question. (When it comes to your health there's no such thing as a stupid question.)
Good luck with your treatment sounds like you are getting close to the finish line.

First, I would make sure that you're eating your meals regularly. Your doctor should order a 12-hour fasting glucose to get a good picture of things. There's an even more important test known as a hemoglobin a1c that should also be drawn. That test measures how well your blood sugars have been over a longer period of time as compared to a snapshot in time. Interferon can mess with blood sugars as can many medications. Often times these resolve though when you stop them like for you since you're ALMOST DONE!!!! :-D
I knew you'd be finishing soon but didn't know exactly when. It's nice to see you drop in again and I hope you keep us posted throughout the end of your course. You're are only member from your part of the world, which is really awesome. It sounds like you've been keeping busy as per your last post a while back. Don't worry too much about it yet and I'd be way more worried if your glucose was over 200+ at this point.
Again, 12-hour fasting glucose, hemoglobin a1c and regular meals.
Hang in there. I'm trying to do the same. Sounds like it's very tough for you again. Sorry to hear but it's ending. :-D
Anyway, I won't need one still.
I'm feeling better now (actually no, I'm still tired, but that's how I deal with pain, by convince myself that I'm fine)
In a couple of hours I'll take the 43rd shot and this means I'm almost DONE. YAY!

@Dilly, No, not my child, I just love his smile
@Bill, you have made a very important change, you finished your treatment :) enjoy your post-treatment life.
@Ernie, you're right, the key is eating regular meals, because when I did this test (RBS), it was about 13 hours since my last meal (a disadvantage of being very busy studying, skipping breakfast)
@dreamkite, I'm a little concerned about my weight, but I'm not overweight, I'm underweight and this increased after treatment.
And Congratulations to all those who finished this journey.
BTW, I miss all those people who finished and I was thinking that we make the first day of every month (or any other day) to come back again and see how are we all doing post treatment.
I don't plan on leaving as this place has made my treatment much easier than it could have been. We all share a common bond,we are or have fought the "Dragon". Besides where would I find such a diverse group of people who get along (most of the time)and care deeply for each other! Also crazy as a bunch of loons! Want to help others going through this like DR.Joe has and is.
Anyways, take care and Still praying for you!

it's what I did in my last comment, I thought about the words in my head and just wrote "@"
I wanted to write "@blanche, yes, I always write down all my questions because I can't rely on my memory"
You know what, I just remembered now something caleed "roll call" I think I saw a post like this a while back, that's what I meant, but my brain is not working well so I keep forgetting things :S
