I have a 2 yr old and about to start fostering a child and am going to start triple therapy in May. I guess what doesn't kill us will make us stronger! LOL

From my previous experience just treating with the Intereron and Ribavirin going into treatment with a positive attitude does wonders! I knew it wasn't going to be easy but with that being said... it wasn't that bad either! Now, like I said, that was NOT triple therapy so I am assuming I will probably have more side effects but it is a small price to pay to get rid of this crap!!

I have just started triple therapy, I have just called the doctor for my mood swings.....otherwise I am not a moody person. Mostly very boring to be quite honest so this one shocked me. I have had energy, plan to keep working the entire time. Not so happy with the fat requirement since I am already over weight and anouther 10 lbs does not feel so good so the nuts and peanut butter sound really good to me. I am determined to get through since I was on the treatment before but needed antibotics and thought they would not work on treatment, I was so wrong if I had talked to my team I would have found out that was wrong lol...... So communication !

I have three small children 6,4,and 2. And I did just fine, I was on the old treatment though. We had a lot of tv days and microwavable food but we made it. And we will when I start the new drugs. I also have a husband and that should answer your other question lol. We didnt have a lack in that area because of treatment either. Now you may not be the same but then again who knows. Also I did the full 48 weeks. If you have someone to help or even just give you a few hours to yourself it helps out a lot! Good luck!

You are a MOM. You will make it work. That's what we do. It always amazes me what I am capable of for my kids. We have something special inside us that make it possible.

I took time off work because I work 12 Hr nights and I am a single mom. Its still tough...because its just me caring for my daughters, running them around to sports, school, etc... Its definetly do-able. I am tired all the time, especially right after my shot. My girls are on spring break and I feel lousy today cuz I took my shot last night. But I still sucked it up and took them bowling and to the mall....but now I am wiped out on my couch. I wouldn't put off treatment....its going by fast. I am on week 9 of the triple therapy...can't wait to be off the incivek cuz I am gaining so much weight.

Thanks to everyone for answering. Hopefully the treatment I'm doing is working and it's a moot point (I should find out tomorrow) but I want to get as much info as possible. If this treatment is working for me, I'll post the details for everyone.
