@peaceful, I merely questioned something you posted that I did not understand. I think suggesting I go speak to a priest is absurd. If you didn't understand something I posted and questioned it I would answer it to the best of my ability.

You complain about the all the hate in the world yet have posted videos by a woman who believes that all Muslims are barbarians and you took the liberty of speaking for god telling all of us here that god disapproves of gays. So yeah, plenty of hate to go round.

This is very sad. I had no idea. I do not watch the news, as most of it is bad news. The tribulation is something that if your going to 'briefly google' it & can't understand from that, doesn't show much real interest, hence the suggestion to talk to a minister or priest for a better understanding. No matter what I attempt to explain to you automatically attack - like just now & in the past. You twist words & meanings of things I say because you hate me & what I stand for.

There is another way you know. You don't have to stay locked into your life as it is. I wasn't always a believer. But I am now & it's wonderful & happy. It could be for you too. I really don't hate anyone. Not muslims, gays, or you.

Hate is such a wasted emotion and destroyer of souls. It only ends up in violence or suffering.

A coworker's daughter lives in Boston and she ran the marathon today. She is okay but my colleague freaked for a while as you can imagine as she couldn't get a hold of her for a while.

Investigators say the explosives were not high grade... Unclear if foreign or domestic terrorism...

I agree Bestshot. I was talking with another co-worker today and we were both hoping that it was just some individual who say, doesn't like Mondays or something (remember that school shooter in San Diego in 1979? That was part of her quote). Anyway, I hope it's not a foreign scheme as well as that would just complicate things exponentially. But they usually seem to find out. Patience is needed as most of us remember the Oklahoma City bombing that turned out to be homegrown domestic terrorism against a "tyrannical federal government" following the Waco tragedy.

These tragedies are so disgusting -- the carnage and misery that they leave in their wake. Agreed Bill, cowardly asshole bastards if I may. What is upsetting too is that it only takes a few bad eggs too wreak so much havoc on our lives and society not to mention around the world. Terrorism anywhere is truly terrorism everywhere.

As someone from Boston and who usually attends this event, I was definitely caught 'off guard' at this news. It was definately a symbolic anti-American attack as yesterday was 'Patriots Day'. I'm thankful for not witnessing this atrocity in person. It's hard to say if it's local terrorism or Al-Quaida (?sp) as with the internet almost anyone can figure out how to make a bomb nowadays.
