Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
i am new at posting...i just put this under ask for advise not realizing it was different from the discussion site.....oh well......anyway..
just wondering if i start tx on a thurs., do i take riba a.m. then riba p.m. and 1st injection.
could wait till morning to call nurse but curious....
i'll be starting w/ peg and riba for 4 weeks lead in and victrelis will be my additional drug for 44 weeks for my triple therapy...

Typically, people take riba a.m. and then shot and riba pm. but, yes, confirm it with your nurse/doc before you start.

I was just on SOC (Peg/Riba) and did my shot the first evening and then began pilling the following morning and evening.
Like KM suggested, ask your Dr. as they all have different treatment plans they prefer.
