Cold sores.

Hi Everybody,
Just wondering. Any one else out there getting cold sores? I don't think I have had one in years if ever. All of a sudden I have got one twice in a month. Any thoughts???

I was getting little, painful sores inside my mouth for a few weeks. I would mix peroxide w/water and swish it around my mouth. Only every few days or so, and also used an antibacterial mouthwash on occassion. I'm into week 16 now, and don't seem to get them much now.

Great post peacefulsoul! It reminded The pharmacy can (per ur hep doc) can call in "magic mouthwash" which was extremely helpful to inner mouth sores. It's fairly cheap as well!
I found my own recipe which works almost as well..used it several times a day, and no kidding, the next day the sores were gone!!! Just in time for more to pop up~
Saltwater Mouthwash

16-ounce bottle of water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
Keep a bottle by bathroom and kitchen sinks.
Rinse, gargle, and spit after meals, before bed, and anytime your mouth feels dry or sore.

Oh I agree with Lpbritt! Call your doctor!!

If it keeps growing and becomes painful it may not be a coldsore, I never had a staph or school sore before treatment so didn't know how similar they looked and had to go on antibiotics by the time I went to doc for help. Hope u clear up soon, nothing like nasty mouth sores to make u feel good about yourself aye!

If your drinking a lot of water from the same water bottle you may want to wash it thoroughly around the spout once a day.

I tried to post this as a new topic, but no one is looking, so I'll post it here too. There's pictures..=) they say 1000 words.

My PCP doc told me specifically about this and to watch out for Steven Johnsons syndrome. You can get it with any drug, but it's fairly common with this tx with the Incevik that we're on.
