When I saw the transplant Dr. he told me 2 cups of BLACK coffee a day has been proven to fight Liver Cancer for those of us with Cirrhosis. So, too much of it is not good for the Kidneys, but so many good qualtities in coffee beans. Go ahead, have a cup.

uhm ..to avoid stimulation and diuretics dringk decaf. Study says both had the same results.
I like to have ice coffee instead of pop so use decaf with some milk and a little sugar or artificial sweetener or none ..your choice. Keep it a pitcher in the fridge! Just suggestion if a cup or regular java gets you too pumped :)
