I was wondering if anyone else has experienced brain fog or bad memory? I am not on treatment yet so I think this is a symptom of the hep c. Anyone else?

I think it could be caused by high or elevated ALTs - liver enzymes floating around in your blood (common in HCV people). I know mines are high and I do experience some 'brain fog' at times. I will be starting my tx very soon though ! Best wishes...

YES, Before, during and even after successful Tx. I do have other health issues though. More gifts from Hep, the disease that keeps on giving!!

I get that a lot too. I havent started treatment quite yet either but hopefully soon. I have weeks where I feel really foggy & then some where I feel pretty sharp....fog usually wins out though lol

Start consuming at least a tablespoon of coconut oil a day. It clears your head, and I heard studies are being done because of indications that it helps prevent or maybe even cure Alzheimer's. The only time I had brainfog was after my liver transplant, but I haven't had hep c treatments yet. When I went through the 8 months of persistent diarrhea a while back and was finally diagnosed with SIBO (small intrestinal bacteria overgrowth) coconut oil was on every list of foods online that I read for that condition. So I use it for cooking and put it on food.
