Yes, MedHelp is great for accurate info, tis true, it just isn't "warm and fuzzy"~
When I first began google searching info on Hep C, the posts on MedHelp were usually the ones that popped up first, which is why I ended up there, to begin with.

I get Emily the Bitch to give me a reason in writing, why I was booted: one of the reasons was one of the Phobics had written in, and said he had been to a "CSW" (certified sex worker) and claimed to have "licked her clitoris once" and was afraid he had contracted Hep C, so I said no, that wasn't a risk, but then copy/pasted a huge list of sexually transmitted diseases that he could have caught, lmao.
Emily said the website I copied from was 'from Nigeria and that someof the diseases listed werent even sexually transmitable" blah blah She also added, that I , myself had admitted in a thread (the thread where the sheeple piled up on me, real nice) that I was "lazy about researching the facts" before I posted. Rule # 1) always talk yrself up, never talk yrself down" and I KNEW that one...it's hard to be on ones gaurd all the frickin time, with Pooh breathin down my back, Pooh likes to tear us a new Azz-hole..hah feck em! She spent hours and hours of her time complaining about me to Emily the Bitcherator.

Yeah,I missed the time her own daughter came on to MH and gave her some shit..hah. It was taken down by the time I got home, but one of you guys told me about it..heehee

When I went and did a bit of a google-search on Hep C Forum shenanigans and politics, I came up with a controversy between two site, Nomads and Wanderers (HCV both) as well.
I am thinking that Big Pharma has it's 'guys" on these sites, coldly taking down accounts that advocate home-made pesto sauce to ease RA issues, rather then the sheeple going to a Rheumatologist and taking an array of meds for their newly acquired or long-time had joint inflammation probs~

I am guessing Liver Transplants are mainly for the rich, but I have never researched.

But in the case of Hep C Treatments, the "first one" can render you non-responsive due to tolerance issues, for the next one!
