Hi there I was just wondering since they stopped treatment after 12 weeks for 2 reasons ( 1 it wasnt killing the dragon and second it has destroyed all my immune system ,red cells and platelets) I have had wierd symptoms my counts were all low to begin tx but since I stopped my platelets have dropped to 30(000)(not sure the usa count .here (in Canada) normal is 250 -450 I started at 60 I have been 2 weeks off tx and the platelets are dropping now to 30... heamoglobin has dropped so its hard to get O2 and breathe,, my white count was 1.1 and I have just got my first ever in my life pneumonia and it is proving hard to get rid of ..The headaches after tx are 10x worse and Im still nauseus all the time ..and like an emotional wreck ..I cry at every thing .....

Today I did FINALLY !!!!
and guess what got rear ended in my car on the Highway by some idiot don't remember much from the first while but have just got home after 9 hours in the hospital .lucky tho no broken bones very sore head /neck back and a concussion so I have to wake every 3 hours and no car,,, they had to cut me out ... Doc said Only thing I really have to watch for is internal bleeding as the platelets so low... What a poopy day !!!!! still Ill heal I'm still here to kick that dragons butt next tx !!!

My soc ended 2 12 wks too because of same reasons.
Mysteriously my platelettes have always been good. I have cirrhosis & hemochromo
I'm on solv/riba now
As for your numbers dropping after tx, could it be because of the pneumonia?
Take good care of yourself. I hope you can just RELAX and not do much of anything - just let your body heal from all it's been through.
A bad accident like that can have effects days later, especially when rear ended.

It took quite a while for my blood to get back to somewhat normal, but platelets stayed low from the 1st tx I did. I don't know how low, & forget what normal range is.
I sure hope you start to feel better jan. Take it very easy for a while. With the pneumonia, breathing problems, AND the car accident, you really, really need to just rest & stay as still as possible. Do you have a follow up dr appt since the accident? Does your treatment dr know about your current symptoms? I would let them know, and about the accident too.

Rest up as it can take some time to rebuild your self after those drugs.
Your immune system was very low from tx and that may be why you got pneumonia which exacerbated your blood counts even further.
Of course, try not to bleed until your plats come back up! You might get nosebleeds etc but you don't want any internal injuries for sure!!!
