The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

No, no plans for another treatment as of yet. After seeing the specialists they agreed that there were no trials that I currently qualify for, the odds of a longer treatment aren't that good, and that I should wait until next year to see what's available. So...my next Dr. appt is in Nov, 2010! I am feeling great, praise the Lord. I finally got off of ambien a month ago and am sleeping normally and seem to be firing on all cylinders. It is so nice to be "normal" again. There is life after treatment!

No reduction routine. I just stopped. The first few night's were a little difficult but after that I was fine.
