Well tomorrow is the first day of Incivek therapy. Hope this treatment works 68 weeks of daily infergin didn't, we will see what happens this time.will join the ranks of the warriors before me Steve

The Incivek will quickly reduce your vl, often down to nothing, within a matter of days.
But once you start Incivek you have to do the full course of 12 weeks. When Incivek is withdrawn, it can not be reintroduced. 24 weeks of additional pegINT/RBV will make sure that any stray virus (Incivek resistant virus) are throughly cleaned up.

One correction Arty...if u test neg at 4 and 12 weeks its only an additional 12 weeks of riba and Interferon...totalling 24 weeks..

But let me correct myself...thats for first timers only...additional 36 weeks for those who have been previously Tx and failed...or test positive at week 4 "or" 12.... totaling 48 weeks

Hi King, that's right, but since Dragon70 has failed previous txs they're not going to take any chances. Response to tx will determine it.

My physician says only 24 total even if you are a relapser...it has not been shown better outcome with longer treatment. good luck!

I just quit 71 weeks of peg/ RIBA. Just the thought of anyone starting gives me chills. How long before last treatment And this time? Wow good luck and best wishes to ya!
