Hey all my fellow heppers,

Just got my 6 month after treatment VL and the virus is back. I'm shocked and so is my doctor since I have been virus free since week 4 of the incivek, pegasys, and ribavirin. Just when I was feeling better I find this out. He says there are new drugs coming out all the time. Please pray for me; I feel lousy today and am trying to change my whole thinking again.

OH NO!!!! This really really sucks, I am so sorry.... I am 9 weeks into the same protocol so can only begin to imagine how awful that must feel.....

I can only echo the words of so many others who have been there-- you will feel better, there is so much you can do to keep your liver healthy, you have given your system a break from the virus..... new meds coming.... blah blah blah... it all sound so hollow... but what is true is that you will get love and support here.... so share the ride. thank you for sharing

Echo Bob! Im sooo sorry to hear this! My worst fear! Just finished on 12/07/2012. very scary stuff! I will say a special prayer for you Linda! Sometimes I don't get it! I hope you will find some peace of mind soon! Will pray for that for you.

Really sorry to read this, Linda. That's so fucked up. I can't imagine the frustration you must be feeling.

There are no words to make this any easier. I do hope and believe that new tx's will be approved in the next couple of years fwiw.

Saying I'm sorry doesn't seem adequate - tho I am SO SO sorry Linda.
I'm on week 47 of the same tx, so I can imagine how devastating it must feel like. Praying for peace for you Linda.

so sorry linda,,,i failed 2 interferon tx's.......6 mo post on abbott all oral trial i am svr....check out all oral trials in u're area.....no sides......for reals...........

Wow lindaonshore I know this is a big let down for you. I hope you can find the strength to keep fighting. Please don't give up. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Such a let down Linda, hang tight more drugs on the horizon. It will be one year post in two weeks and still fear relapse. I'm back to normal except for arthritis caused by the virus, but when here stories like yours I start to wonder! Am I really cured?
