The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

Took #44 friday and fimding my patients goin thinner as time goes by! Doc says I am his poster child for victrellis,but don't know till after the 6 mos test. But hey so far so good! Couldn't stop prep for sandys visit this weekend so am very tired. 4 to go and Ican do this.

Congrats!! 4 more is an amazing thing to say. I am now 8 weeks post tx. Every single week I feel better. The brain fog is the most prevalent. That really screws me up. I'm resting less at work, AND the best news is I'm back to walking my dog 3 miles, bout 4 times a week. I never thought I'd be able to do that again. Persistence is a wonderful thing. Keep going. You hav to be extatic NO MORE FAT. Never thought I'd ever put a drop of butter in my mouth again.. Just call me a liar. Lol. Take care Kelly

WE, I find the closer it gets the more impatient i get but its all good!
its very encouraging to hear how therest of you are doing post tx. Gives an idea of what to expect. I really can't wait for the brain fog to lift!

Incredible! I am new to this. Just diagnosed with Hep C a few days ago. Evidently It's been dormant for 40 years. Just now rearing it's head. I haven't been to a gastro doc yet. Scheduled 3rd week in November to get the verdict from my bloodwork and ultrasound. I've been through cancer with chemo and radiation back in 2006. I can't imagine that Hep can be any more difficult. Ever Forward!!

I started last Friday! Only 288 days left!!! I must admit I'm already tired of this crap!!! But tell myself each morning "I CAN DO THIS!"
