To TulsaGal, are you taking incivek and eating 20 grams of fat 3 x day?
you mentioned rice pudding and choc milk. One small cup of Cozy Shack rice pudding has 3 grams. Choc syrup has 0 gr fat. But I did buy whole milk to add to oatmeal + butter to equal 20 gr. I asked the Vertex/Incivek nurse if having 16 or 17 gr was enough and she said definately not! Yesterday I bought new ice cream, whipped cream, and donuts! Don't tell me I'm not going to need a forklift to move myself around....lol.

I have started eating 1/2 cup trail mix for a change. Morning is definately the hardest. Luckily I love peanutbutter I usually just eat it off a spoon with a piece of cheese and a cup of milk. I just bought several Michellina's frozen micro meals with 16-17 grams fatplus a cup of milk will be a nice change too. Other than that when I feel like it I also pan fry a bagel in butter and then cover it with cream cheese. Not gaining any weight so far but I barely eat anything other than my fat servings. Nutella is yummy too right off the spoon. I am new to tx 2 weeks down and only 10 to go. We'll make it.

I haven't really been eating the 20 gr of fat. My doctor says its not a huge deal for me to have that much fat. He says a little fat is plenty. On the other hand, I have been sick nonstop so I'm not sure if my lack of fat has anything to do with it. I have no appetite. I am three weeks into treatment.

Gosh Katrina my Dr said the fat and water a must. The fat allows the Incevik to be absorbed in your body. My Dr changed Incevik to twice a day cause people were forgetting the afternoon dose. I'm 20 grams of fat happier

Catrina, the Dr's and incivek nurse hotline say the 20 gr is a must. Are
you taking incivek? Krazyaunt, do you take 3 tablets twice a day then? I'd like to do that. I'll see after Wed. bloodwork if the stuff is going to work on me.
