I am not in the best space to offer support right now so I hope that others will rally around you here. But I will say that you must tell your Psychiatrist and doctor how you feel. Maybe a medication change? Are you currently in psychotherapy? These are options to help you. They work for many but are not for everybody. Meds with counseling support are always the best. Suicide is never a great coping skill and it truly hurts all those that you leave behind in the worst of ways. I'd recommend having a crisis line handy too and I have one here just in case for San Diego 800-479-3339. They can help you find a local one near you for 24/7 support if you get really low. Best to you. Life can be challenging. Tx magnifies it for certain. HCV is a mofo!

Force yourself to participate in stuff. I am and it helps. I have a lot of stuff going on around me unfortunately and I just need to thoroughly bitch and moan here right now. Some stay away when they feel negative but I need to get it out. It's always short-lasting and not my usual. I hate to unload but I can't bring this toxicity anywhere else. If rather see group groaning then stoning though here any day.

I have to agree with Earniecoolcat here. Treatment is difficult for most of us, and it's hard not to feel down from time to time. But that's different than deep depression where you feel like you can't go on. I would urge you to seek immediate professional help. It doesn't really matter if the cause is the RX, or something else, you should seek help now.

You said the reason for the depression in your statement, you have to fight yourself to do anything, thats what depressed me, didnt feel like doing anything, FORCE YOURSELF HARDER, GET OUT DO SOMETHING, even if its taking showers, long showers, move, keep moving,,,good luck and take care

hi there county girl. Thank you for posting how you're feeling. I am very new to the group/ Hepc + (4 days green) and also have suffered thru depression most of my life. Not having begun tx myself, I'd like to tell you I think you're extremely brave. one, going thru the tx itself and for sharing your feelings straight up... For me, being dx'd was a life haulting realization..I too, was normally strong ..but this; too me, feels like a death sentence and is frightening. Especially when those closest to me really don't understand at all.. *Like Ernie coolcat, i too feel like bitching and moaning, I'm so angry, and saddened at the same time, but find writing my thoughts down on paper helps me thru the tuffest times.
I have no desire nor energy to take a walk, do yoga (which I'd never do anyway cuz..well anyhoo),,, I agree with the others on reaching out to someone whom specializes in such sadness. *if you have not already done so. I wish you well, truly. take care. Jeanette :)

I am seeing a physc and he doesn't want to give me any RX due to advanced liver disease. Doesn't make sense to me.....I will eventually need a liver transplant....txt for HCV is just to buy me some time.
Who cares if the Rx is bad for my already Bad liver......doesn't quality of life mean anything? I plan on discussing this with the Dr....but I am pretty sure I need to find a new one.
I'm not griping ....I just needed to share.

Well my friend I have had it to sence about the same time. Which is the biggest reason they want let me do the tx. I am on Wellbutrin.Seriquil,Trazadone,zanis's umm I rthink thats all my mental stuff anyways. Just remember tomorrow is another day and do lots of praying thats what I do. Sometimes ...well I use to love horrow movies now I can barely watch them sometimes I cant watch them at all. Please just hang in there. You can do it my friend I Know you can :-)
