Basically you just got the 12-24 hour flu. You might just sleep through the side-effects taking it this late......but I doubt it:)( hope u do though) I took mine about noon , so it didn't kick in until about 6-7 that evening. Pretty intense until about 1-2 in the morning, when I woke up after about an hour of sleep and felt like one would if they just broke a fever. Felt much better then, and except from being a little drained and having a slight head- ache , I was totally fine next day. My last shot ( I'm just a head of you) was smooth sailing. Although, I was pretty achy at night for the couple days after that one. I took it wed., so Sat. I noticed those aches were just about gone, and today I'm feeling like a new man. I guess you start feeling better just in time to do it all over again.lol Oh well gotta be done......I wonder what this next shot will bring?
Good luck Moussa, I'll pray your side -effects are nil, and that you can tolerate the meds so you can kill this beast......Dragon , whatever in the hell you want to call it. It's just evil to me, and I call it just about everything in the book.lol I like calling it names. Helps with thinking of this as a battle for me.

I also just had my first shot (of 24)on Friday. I had extreme chills late evening for an hour or so, That was the worst part, Took lots of Tylenol and Ibuprofen as the nurse suggested (rotating between the two). Loss of appetite and knew I should get some exercise but had no desire. I do bowl on Sunday nights and did do that. I felt much better after so I've learned my lesson to go out for that walk even if I don't want to.

I have been fortunate. Last night was no problem. A little nausea, a little achey, but really not much more. This moring I feel like I have a hangover. I start the Rib in an hour.

Congratulations on getting started Moussa and I'm glad the first one wasn't all that bad for you. Keep up the great attitude.

I took shot no. 26 this past Friday and I have 22 left to go. We'll finish up about the same time.

hey , im so glad you have started , it does take some hours before you feel it , but each of us are different while doing tx , we have some of the same symptoms and help each other by sharing our stories ! start drinking water , get some rest . prayers and respect ! oh yea , now my shots give me energy on the day i take them , it was tough for me at first !
