Hi everyone, I jusr wanted to check in, to say I took my 12 week post End of Treatment viral load test,, and I was still Undetected. My Doctor said they used the most sensitive test there was, and since I wasn't cirrhotic prior to Tx, that I can consider myself cured. Of course, I know I now have a 99.7 % chance of being SVR, in 3 months, and so I will get my 6 month post tx vl test, around Valentines Day.
My lingering symptom is that my hips and knees now pop out of their sockents, which is painful, and my knee froze up on me the other day, and I had trouble walking, for a few days. I never had any problems with my legs, before Tx, but I had pain in the shoulder, and in the feet and hands, so I think the Tx just exacerbated a pre-existing auto-immune condition which I had, probably due to my Hep C..although my Mom and Grandma, and father, all have arthritis as well, so it's hard to say. But I am only 50 yrs old.
Other then that, my digestion is great, but my hot-flashes came back, lol...and my sex-drive seems to bw functioning again, as well...yay!

Ya always did like that other online forum better! Well nice to darken our doorstep again Cassy. That's such great news. I hope that you get the same result 3 months from now and can close this chapter of your life.
I had a giant anxiety attack, on my way to pick up my 3 month post tx vl results: I couldn't breath, and racing heart..it was very physically uncomfortable for a minute.
Luckily, I had brought a banana with me, and drank some water, and "let it go", and was able to then wait for my lab results,in a calm and orderly fashion, lol

As long as your liver enzymes are doing well... you should live a normal life.
