Hello everybody,

Well the day has come. I finally had my Doctor visit at NIH today and am now under a new study. Well basically the study is getting off Epivir "Lamivudine". I had to sign a few paper, gave some extra blood work and starting tomorrow I will no longer be taking that medication. I was told the study has been going on for 2 years now and that I am the 14 patient. I ask a few questions and out of 13 they say only 5 had to be put back on treatment, which is Viread. I will be on Viread too if my virus become positive again. I am being monitor once a month for the first 6 month, then if everything goes well it will be every 3 month visit, and after that every 6 month and if all goes well I will visit once a year. But that's way down the road which I pray that will happen. Again, I feel great and am feeling happy.

Update: It's been about a month now and today I have my visit. Did my blood lab early and the result came in before I saw the Doctor. Everything came out good and everything is still the same without the medication. My next visit will be in another month from now.

Update: It's about two months now that I've been off my medication. Had my Doctor visit today at NIH. The result is still good, only one complaint is that some of my fingers and toes are num a bit. Maybe blood isn't flowing well. So they email me to schedule an appointment with a Neurologist. My Doctor don't think it's an issue with my liver, but he just want to be on the safe side and schedule it. We'll see what happen in two weeks from today and a month from now when I go back for another follow up.

Pls Free Me neither do I at the moment but check this face book link from the world hepatitis fund. If its is available in 3 to 4 years time I'll take it. Please read it... This is the reason I haven't put the petition together for now.

Sound like it's company, not a drugs. Been around for a while now. My Doctor at NIH would have said something to me long time ago.

Had my Doctor visit today; My result came out as everything is still good. Had a few word here and there with my Doctor and he say keep what I'm doing and see you in a month.

Here is my update, As I've been some what staying away from here for a bit. It's been 6 month now and had my visit a few days ago. The result still came back good results. I am now moving forward and don't need to visit every month like before, I will be on a 3 month visit and continue this study which will end sometime in Oct 2017. My Doctor say at this point I have about a 30% chance the virus will reactive again, but he think it wont come back and as time goes by the % will drop to a lesser number which is great for me. Again, my time on here will be less and less down the road. My focus on what I've been doing I believe it's helping me. For all the newbie, just look up at all my posted and you may understand the things I say, some of you may not and you'll have to do things on your own.
