Hello everybody,

Well I just had my Doctor visit today with blood lab and ultra sound. The ultra sound result came right away so I have it in handy right now. I'll type down a little bit what the result say " The liver is of normal texture. It is normal in size at 14cm. There are no focal lesions in the liver. The intrahepatice bile ducts are normal and not dilated. The gallbladder shows small polyp but no stones and a normal appearing gallbladder wall. The portal vein is patent and shows normally directed flow towards the liver. Vies of the pancreas are somewhat limited; however the pancreas does appear normal. Both kidneys are normal. The right kidney measures 11.3cm; left kidney 12cm. There is no ascites. The spleen is normal at 12.2cm."

As for my blood lab, I have a copy from three months ago. I'll have to wait a few day to get my today blood lab result. I'm not 100% sure what all these number means, but I just listen to what my Doctor say and ask him/her questions. I'll try my best to show my result.

HBs Ag: Positive Result
S/CO ratio is >5.0 confirmatory testing is not required
Known positive V V 14:36
Abnormal
Anti-HBs Antibody: Negative Result
Result is < 5.0 mlu/mL

HBV DNA-IU: None Detected

Well, I try my best to show my result. If you guys want to see other number, let me know and I'll try to look at my result and let you know. It's a whole lots of things like Sodium, Potassium, Creatinine, Glucose, Calcium.... etc too much for me to type.

Overall, I feel great. As long my Doctor doesn't call me. I know it's good news.

Update to my visit today. Doctor went over my blood lab back in May. Everything is good, high red blood cell, but everything else is normal. I just hope I can get off the medication, but he told me he doesn't want to give me false hope, but stay positive because it may happen. Well next visit is in Nov with another Ultra Sound too.

Ok, I've been busy and my result never arrive. I'm still feeling good and if I don't get a phone call from the Doctor Office that mean it's good news for me. My next visit will be in Nov to see both my specialist and research Doc. I will get more of an answer once I see my specialist. Haven't seen my specialist in about two years now. So if she doesn't call me that is also good news. I know she will lecture me a bit for the long delay in not seeing her, but both Doctor get the same blood lab reports and my research Doc say that I can be as normal as I can be. Will post my update in late Nov when I visit both Doc.

Ok, I know this is a old post that I created. But I should continue where I left off. I just got back from my other Doctor at NIH. I got my result from back in Aug visit. I always see my old result when my visit comes as the new result won't be seen on my next visit. As for my Ultra Sound here is what they say: Liver is normal in size, smooth contour and has normal texture. No focal hepatic lesions are identified...etc. As for my HBV DNA-IU: None Detected.
The other result I have no idea: Hepatic Panel
Alkaline Phosphatase 45
ALanine Aminotransferase 31
Aspartate 16.

All those result are in the safe zone for me. The only thing my Doc say is that my result is getting better each visit. Only one thing is that I still have Hep B virus in my liver, but it's still in a suppress stage which is very good. He tell me to keep up what I'm doing and hopefully the virus will go away.

Once again, my 3 month doctor visit was today. I got my result from Nov blood lab, my today result I will know in 3 month from now when I go back. I guess my result is the same, nothing new.

HBV DNA - None Detected
HBs Ag. - Positive &quot; I guess this mean I still have the virus&quot;
Phosphorus - 3.3 [ 2.5-4.8nmg/dL]
Alkaline Phosphatase 59 [37-116 U/L]
Alanine Aminotransferase 39 [6-41 U/L]

Other then that, I have no idea what these mean. But my doctor say I'm good.

Hello everybody, my 3 month Doc visit was today. As my Doc was out of the office today there was another Doc and sub in for today. I guess my result is still the same which is good. I tend to hate being seen by another Doc that doesn't know anything about my past history...etc. Overall the visit was good and I feel find. If some of you don't know, I am under a study at N.I.H &quot; National Institutes of Health&quot; which I see every 3 months and my specialist once a year. They both do pretty much the same, but NIH I get all my test, consult for free as I am a study. Well before the consult was over, the sub Doc told me that I can go under a new study which will be that I get off of Lamivudine&quot;Epivir&quot;and be monitor on my blood lab weekly for who know how long and hopefully I don't have to get back. That's the good part if my virus doesn't become active again. The bad part is if my virus doesn't become active again, I will not be able to get back on Lamivudine and be put on NIH study drugs. So a part of me want to get off and a part of me is scare. I'm living a normal life, but just taking 1 pill a day. But I was told that there was about up to 15 folks that has already been enroll in this study. I guess I will have to wait for 3 month when my next visit to see my Doc and consult with him and my specialist to make sure this is the next step I want to do. The good and bad again... the good is that I will be a test rat lab for NIH to help future patient, the bad is, it's my own health that I am worry. I do believe everything is on the right track with my life, but it's the next step that I have never done before. So I guess I will have 3 months to think about it before I can discuss this with my Doc and see what the next step is. Again, I feel fine as I left the office today. Hope this info help you guys...

i'm so happy for you nekko, hope your hbsAg will be negative next time and the anti will be positive. me i haven't go see my doctor for long time now but i feel ok though hehe.

I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
