helping with the housework Community Group

this is a group for those of us who are challenged by getting things around the house done....come tell us what has to be done and get support to and motivation to get that task done and brag about what you have gotten done daily! It is hard for some of us to begin an easy chore but when we are doing them and get them done do you not feel like telling someone? I do!

Laundromat

GPS took me a different way to the gym/laundromat this afternoon.  I just got home and threw two small sweet potatoes in the microwave.  I had a boring day at work/laundromat.  I'm super glad to be home.  I should take my trash out because it's probably going to rain tonight into tomorrow.  I went in my tan room looking for ribbon the other day and smelled cat pee.  I picked up a cute blanket that I apparently forgot about and it smelled like pee.  I thought about trying to wash it with detergent and white vinegar.  Anyone have any thoughts on that?

most pet store odor remover should work...cat pee has a very strong odor....there is something called Null Odor that I have used in the bissell rug cleaner....

I have heard that tomato juice can get out a skunk smell so maybe it will work on cat pee smell.

Thanks bill and carly and good morning! I hate to throw it away. I'll have to check out the pet department at Walmart. I have heard about tomato juice for skunk spray too. Have a great day!

No thoughts, but the Martha Stewart website usually has good cleaning tips. I've been her fan since I was twelve. Loved Martha while she was in fed lock up and her Snoop Dog phase too.

Right now I trying with all my might to not go get ice cream. I had a bag of peanut brittle for lunch (my sweet tooth....)

P.S. you might see a cute guy or two at the laundromat?

Laundromat might be good for a cute guy. But the grocery store is the best place ever.

Mel, did you end up getting ice cream? I can't have it in my house or I'll pig out on it. One guy talked to me warning me that some of his laundry was stolen from a dryer. I don't have good luck with guys and never really have. There is a cute guy on Facebook who keeps coming up as someone I might know. He's 4 years younger than me.
