helping with the housework Community Group

this is a group for those of us who are challenged by getting things around the house done....come tell us what has to be done and get support to and motivation to get that task done and brag about what you have gotten done daily! It is hard for some of us to begin an easy chore but when we are doing them and get them done do you not feel like telling someone? I do!

I Screamed at My Cat

I was hanging up laundry and I was holding up a dress and my cat started diving at it and got his nail in it.  I was pissed.  I have been looking for a fun summer dress.  I thought this dress was too big but it may not be.  I yelled at my cat louder and meaner than usual.  I think I owe him an apology.  I think I've written before about how he thinks diving at clothes that are being hung up is a game.  It's already a chore that I don't like doing and his nonsense doesn't help!

hopefully he did not ruin the dress....sometimes you can put the little strings back thru the clothing out of sight....

I yelled at Belle today when I came home....she came into house and when Happy started to come in thru doggie door Belle acted like Nope your not coming in here but she stepped onto the bowl of dog food and spilled it all over the floor...kibble everywhere....uggs....so I yelled loud at her...she dominant over Happy but Happy will kick her ass at times....but they also play well together.....

Goodness, it is definitely a Friday!

Hopefully the dress can be repaired easily and looking great.

The cat may let you apologize and may not. Depends on how the cat feels about what you did and said - and, yes it would be a game to the cat.

The dogs will do this crazy action. It's part of the sibling moment with the 'we're happy you're home! moment.

If your pet does something destructive it’s hard not to yell at them. They usually run off but most recover quickly especially cats unless you have an extremely sensitive one. My shy one is a perfect angel so I never need to yell at her. Though if I accidentally bump her or scare her she makes me feel terrible by running off and takes a lot of convincing with a toy to come back.

Mel, he makes me laugh everyday! I am certain that he falls over just to make me laugh!.

Thanks adriasm! I'm doing laundry now so I'm sure he will think it's playtime when I hang it up!

    I did the dumbest thing today.  I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds.  I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym.  What a dummy!
