helping with the housework Community Group

this is a group for those of us who are challenged by getting things around the house done....come tell us what has to be done and get support to and motivation to get that task done and brag about what you have gotten done daily! It is hard for some of us to begin an easy chore but when we are doing them and get them done do you not feel like telling someone? I do!

I am going to run the vacuum tonight in all rooms

Last night I wiped hair off Tuckers back in living room and hair went onto the floor which was black hair and it made floor look bad but I did nothing last night....so tonight only American Ninja Warrior is drawing me on TV so I am dedicated to all room vacuuming tonight....I know I will fill the canister of the vacuum several times especially in the kitchen/dining room area....that gets bad with dog hair piles....I just do not sweep in there....I am motivated and I am going to go....3....2......1 I am off....

Good job Bill. I would be running the vacuum every day if I had dogs. I can't tolerate much pet hair.

I filled three canisters but didnt go into the bathroom at all, beyond doorway.

Yes I live in pigsty when it comes to pet hair.

I did not vacuum the mud room for some reason...I did the throw rug in there but there is still masses of dog hair clumped up in there.....uggh....I did not do the bathroom either....I can get to them in next few days and do more of the vacuuming in the dining room when I take all boxes off the table in there....I want Mom to come have BBQ with me here.....she has not been here in while now....when I get the dining room and kitchen clean I will make my invite but I told her it is coming soon tonight....so I got work to do yet....LOL

I understand completely! I used to have jack russell terrier and and a black lab. The black lab hair was everywhere! When he was shedding, I would take a broom and dustpan and sweep up as much as I could that way so I wasn't overloading the vacuum. I am a neat freak so you know how much I adored that lab! He was the best dog and super good for the kids. You are so lucky to have your Mom close enough to BBQ. Mine is 500 miles away. What I wouldn't give to have her here.

You do really good Bill with your cleaning.. glad your Mom is coming over what a joy.. I miss mine so much... have fun and enjoy the BBQ.. sounds so good and making me hungry.

Vacuum? Now there's something I've been ignoring. I need to get mine all charged up. I'll sweep first today.

    So mad at Xfinity!  They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today!  Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...
