this is a group for those of us who are challenged by getting things around the house done....come tell us what has to be done and get support to and motivation to get that task done and brag about what you have gotten done daily! It is hard for some of us to begin an easy chore but when we are doing them and get them done do you not feel like telling someone? I do!

Decision About Fixing Washer

My handyman said it would cost $650 to fix my washer and that he didn't think I should do it.  So I am going to stick with the laundromat.  I have to be careful though because a nice man warned me that someone stole his nice quilt, swim trunks and dress shorts out of the dryer when he had left and came back 10 minutes late.  As to the rain damage in my sunroom, that will cost me $450.  Not bad at all.

I do not like laundry mats because they are often hot and full washers and dryers make your clothes not get in when you want it.....you could find a used washer on nextdoor.com or facebook marketplace and have someone pick it up and deliver it....

Thanks bill! Already thought of that and so did my handyman. I found a great laundromat. I did a huge load of clothes in one washer for $4.75. I wish I would have dried them there. Now my dryer isn't working right. I like the smell of the clothes better when they are done at the laundromat since I have well water.
