Heart Failure Support Group
Heart failure is a condition that can result from any structural or functional cardiac disorder that impairs the ability of the heart to fill with or pump a sufficient amount of blood throughout the body. It is often undiagnosed due to a lack of a universally agreed definition and difficulties in diagnosis, particularly when the condition is considered "mild."
I had a BNP blood test for Heart Failure and I hope they are accurate because I was 120 0r 130 something. Being
Your symptoms (that you feel), are the best test imo.
What do you feel? How do you feel? What are your vices and habits? Are you weak? You didn't state much regarding your age and lifestyle, that's important too.

I did a bit of research on these tests and they seem to be a pretty accurate predictor of Heart Failure. Not sure what happened to my replies above, but what I was trying to say is that I was rapt to have such a low reading, for what is obvious heart failure. At the same time they blood tested for Kidney function and that was good so in all a pretty good result for me. What number did you get on the BNP?
In June I go back to my cardiologist for another stress test and echo. Last time my left ventricular ejection fraction was between 25-30%. I prefer to do my research and take an active role in my medical care. I am ok with whatever happens because it just is what it is. I worry about the things I can control, and what I can't control, I say screw it.
