Heart Failure Support Group
Heart failure is a condition that can result from any structural or functional cardiac disorder that impairs the ability of the heart to fill with or pump a sufficient amount of blood throughout the body. It is often undiagnosed due to a lack of a universally agreed definition and difficulties in diagnosis, particularly when the condition is considered "mild."

Worth looking into and ruling out. Very common and rarely diagnosed in early stages...my husband sufferd for over 10 years before a dr finally diagnosed the root cause of joint pain, muscle pain, weakness, fatigue...among other things. Iron overload affects heart, liver, pancreas and does much damage to joints, tissues, leading to autoimmune disorders, liver disease, heart failure.
Cheers, and hope this can help someone.
Heart and liver two most affected organs due to iron overload.
Hemochromatosis. Silent killer. Early warning signs joint pain, particularly in fingers of hands and thumbs.
I had that problem - and it got very bad . Surgery was being considered. However - it got too bad for surgery.
Finally properly diagnosed as carpal tunnel. Have been wearing hand and wrist splints for 24/7 for 2 months and then at night. The pain and difficulty from it has been controlled.
