Heart failure is a condition that can result from any structural or functional cardiac disorder that impairs the ability of the heart to fill with or pump a sufficient amount of blood throughout the body. It is often undiagnosed due to a lack of a universally agreed definition and difficulties in diagnosis, particularly when the condition is considered "mild."
If you can, see a pulmonologist. It may not be a heart problem but a lung problem. I do have some thoughts, but I don't want you to stress over something that I say it could be. No point in stressing if you don't know what it is.
I am an ex-smoker and was put on Spiriva recently for possible COPD and have an Albuterol inhaler for quick use!
If you feel uncomfortable I would suggest another opinion; but unless you have great insurance this can be expensive.
Hope and prayer sent for the best! You may also suffer from fear, anxiety; etc. I am not a professional; but I know that I suffered from some anxiety; anger; and felt like I was helpless for a few months, but still remain positive.
