Heart failure is a condition that can result from any structural or functional cardiac disorder that impairs the ability of the heart to fill with or pump a sufficient amount of blood throughout the body. It is often undiagnosed due to a lack of a universally agreed definition and difficulties in diagnosis, particularly when the condition is considered "mild."
I know that folks here are not doctors but I'm just looking for feedback especially from those veterans of heart failure, as I believe they know a lot.my story is that I have been short of breath now continually off and on but mainly now continuly. My SATs drop to like 89,90,91.especially laying
Flat and I find it hard to breath.tests this year have been.echograph,stress echo,ct angiography, BNP blood tests,chest x ray,numerous ECG,s.chest ct.I saw a chest professer and gave me lung function tests and a sleep test that measures my O2 when I'm sleep(that was 94)but recently its dropped to 91.I will have another echo in a few weeks because I begged him to do it.(he said OK because its Christmas).when I lay on my right said my 02 goes up but when I lay flat it drops to like 89,90,91.I feel like I've done all the right testing,did I miss anything?all my results were fine they said but I feel so tired and so breathless. Since I bought my own pulse oximeter, I feel that I'm really freaking out as sometimes it drops to 90,91 even when I'm walking. Please guys,any feedback would help.I'm 49,non smoker,drinker.I have suffered tachycardias both in the present and past and I have Gerd which I take lanzoprazole for.

If you can, see a pulmonologist. It may not be a heart problem but a lung problem. I do have some thoughts, but I don't want you to stress over something that I say it could be. No point in stressing if you don't know what it is.
I am an ex-smoker and was put on Spiriva recently for possible COPD and have an Albuterol inhaler for quick use!
If you feel uncomfortable I would suggest another opinion; but unless you have great insurance this can be expensive.
Hope and prayer sent for the best! You may also suffer from fear, anxiety; etc. I am not a professional; but I know that I suffered from some anxiety; anger; and felt like I was helpless for a few months, but still remain positive.
