Heart Attack Support Group
Heart attack is a serious, sudden heart condition usually characterized by varying degrees of chest pain or discomfort, weakness, sweating, nausea, vomiting, and arrhythmias, sometimes causing loss of consciousness. It occurs when the blood supply to a part of the heart is interrupted, causing death and scarring of the local heart tissue.
My heart attack came out of nowhere ..no shortness of breath while working out , no angina, no excessive tiredness.I worked out 6 days aweek and ate healthy , but bad genetcs finally got me..family history
and low HDL. BUT now that we know our conditions there are so many good medicines and treatments. My doc says he has patients with stents
from more than 15 years ago [before they were medcated like they are now] who are still going strong.
